The tips for Cake decorating is wonderful. To offer them at this price is also wonderful. I really like the idea of shopping from home. I don’t know anyone here and don’t know my way around. I love to bake Cakes and decorate them and so to try to find places to buy this tips and bags is very hard. You make it so easy for me to enjoy something I like to do. The tips come so that you can make a array of designs on your Cake and other foods like crackers.

August 11, 2009The Cake turned out much smaller than I imagined it would, probably because the pan is not designed to hold a whole Cake mix. I found that out the hard way. My Cake turned out sort of squished looking, more like a flying saucer than a baseball. I managed to get the cake out of the pan pretty easily — my biggest fear — but I was very disappointed by the size. To make it rounder, I supplemented with a store-bought yellow cake wedged in between the layers — all “glued” together with cream cheese icing. No one knew but the cook! Still, I don’t think things were supposed to work that way….
Wilton Giant Cupcake Pan

I used this giant cupcake mold for my son’s first birthday cake. It was really fun to make and decorate, and turned out great! I just used a store-bought cake mix (chocolate) and the cake itself turned out fine. Although the top of the cupcake does cook faster than the bottom, it’s not so much faster that there was any noticeable dryness in the texture. I filled the top portion 3/4 full and the bottom 1/2 full with batter. The one downside to the pan is that the center of each portion really balloons up with steam during cooking, so to put it together, you will have to even off each part by cutting some off.
